Weddings at The Priest’s House, Bolton Abbey

There’s something special about this corner of Yorkshire. The Priest’s House sits quietly near Bolton Abbey, full of history, old stone, and a kind of stillness you feel the moment you arrive. I’ve photographed a few weddings here — each one different, but all full of heart. Whether it’s vows in the chapel or a quiet walk down the hill after dinner, the whole place feels like a step away from the rush.

🌿 A Quiet, Romantic Day in the Dales

Jane & Callum’s wedding at The Priest’s House felt timeless — all soft light, ivy-covered stone, and views that stretched across Wharfedale. Their ceremony was full of warmth and quiet smiles, with the old chapel’s stillness holding every word close. As the light shifted, guests wandered into the gardens and gathered in the candlelit reception space, where laughter and speeches flowed easily into the evening.
