Eleanor & Alan — A Wedding at Milden Hall, Lavenham
- By Tim Christian Jones
Set in the Suffolk village of Lavenham, Eleanor & Alan’s wedding unfolded across quiet streets, an elegant old church, and the warm, welcoming spaces of Milden Hall.
The morning began nearby, where Eleanor and her bridesmaids got ready together in a rented cottage — sunlight spilling in, simple details falling into place. From there, the day moved gently from ceremony to celebration, shaped by laughter, ease, and the feeling that everything was exactly where it should be.
There was warmth in every part of the day — from familiar faces and shared smiles to children quietly stealing the show — all wrapped in a calm, unhurried rhythm that let the story breathe.

Closing the Story
Eleanor & Alan’s wedding at Milden Hall unfolded with a quiet confidence — warm light, familiar faces, and a gentle rhythm that never needed to be rushed. From the early moments in the Suffolk countryside to the relaxed celebrations that followed, the day carried an ease that made every part of it feel natural and unforced.
It was one of those weddings where the setting, the people, and the moments all aligned — nothing staged, nothing hurried —just a story allowed to breathe.
This wedding now sits quietly within my Destination Weddings portfolio.
