Destination Weddings — Natural, Relaxed Photography from a Yorkshire Base
Sometimes the story takes us a little further from home.
I'm based in Leeds, right in the heart of Yorkshire, but I love travelling for weddings. Over the years I've photographed celebrations from Brighton to Edinburgh, and from Scarborough to Eryri National Park.
No matter the distance, my approach stays the same — calm, unobtrusive, and documentary in style, always focused on light, people, and genuine emotion.
Your story is photographed with honesty and care, wherever in the UK it unfolds.
Susie & Dan’s Wedding — Foulridge Church and Barley Village Hall, Lancashire.
The rain didn’t stop a thing. These two stuck to their plans, braving the Lancashire fields with big smiles and plenty of laughter. By the evening, the hall was filled with music and ceilidh dancing
Stirk House Hotel Wedding — Karen & Guy’s Winter Wedding
A mid-January wedding at Stirk House Hotel in Lancashire. 4pm start. Red hearts. Helium balloons. Children’s laughter. A family celebration unfolding gently in winter light.
Julie & Pat’s Wedding at Woodborough Hall, Nottingham.
Travelling from New Zealand to celebrate with loved ones, Julie & Pat embraced a wonderfully rainy September wedding at Woodborough Hall.
Lowri & Tim’s Photojournalistic Wedding at the Temple of Apollo, Strourton.
A sunshine-filled wedding for Lowri & Tim, captured in a relaxed, photojournalistic style across The Temple of Apollo & Memorial Hall. Full of fun, movement, and natural storytelling moments.
Kat & Jamie’s Documentary Style Wedding Photography at The Trafalgar Tavern
It was an absolute pleasure to travel down to Greenwich to cover the beautiful wedding of Kat & Jamie.
Every destination tells its own story, and I love stepping into those moments with a quiet, documentary eye. Whether it’s the sea air, the hills, or a familiar family place, what matters most is the feeling you had on the day — and that’s what I’m there to photograph.
If you're planning a wedding a little further from Leeds or anywhere across Yorkshire, I'd love to hear about it. No rush, no pressure — just a real conversation about your day and how you’d like it to be remembered.
If you’d like to explore more weddings photographed closer to home, you’ll find a wider selection in my Wedding Portfolio.
